At Lamrim Kadampa Buddhist Center – Davenport
This is an ongoing class series based on the book, “How to Understand the Mind” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. This book clearly explains all of Buddha’s fundamental teachings on what our mind actually is, and how we can use this understanding for our own meditation practice and spiritual development. Buddha taught that all our happiness and suffering are created by our own mind, so understanding it is the key to unlocking our potential for happiness and solving our own and others problems.
A different section of the book will be covered each class, and there will be time for meditation and question and answers as well. You do not need to have the book to attend, and each class is self contained so you can drop in to any class you like, or attend the series consecutively.
