At Lamrim Kadampa Buddhist Center – Davenport
Learn about “The Buddhist Way of Loving Kindness” in this weekly mediation class based on the book, The New Eight Steps to Happiness. This class will look at how we can use Buddha’s teachings on loving kindness to transform our ordinary attitudes of selfishness, fear and dissatisfaction into ones of altruism, joy and harmony with all. The class will emphasize how we can apply what we have learned immediately into our life in order to solve our daily worries, problems, and difficulties in a peaceful, positive, and healthy way.
By presenting the timeless wisdom of Buddha in a way that is immediately accessible and practical for modern people, this class can benefit individuals from all walks of life.
